God Whispers and We do not hear

I would like share a lovely inspirational verse that a friend saw on FaceBook.  The funny thing is that in the last week, I have been drawn to butterflies, now the proud owner of a two lovely journals that have captured my rambling thoughts the past week.  One of the journals included the following quote; Cultural myth and lore honor the butterfly as a symbol of transformation because of its impressive process of metamorphosis.  That is certainly what I have been going through lately.

For those of you interested in following my journey of Re-Birth, hit the blue “following” button located near the top right hand corner of the blog, and you will be asked to open a WordPress account, free of charge.  I would also love your feedback or comments in addition to completing the polls contained some of the daily posts.  This will give me an idea about what you readers and followers are enjoying and what areas that I should not write about.  This is completely new to me, so I am growing and learning every day with the Lord’s help and yours.

Here is the lovely, God Whispers and We do not hear.

The man whispered,
“God speak to me.”
And a meadowlark sang.
But the man did not hear.

So the man yelled out
“God, let me hear you.”
And the thunder rolled across the sky.
But the man did not listen.

The man looked around and said,
“God, let me see you.”
And the sun shined brightly.
But the man did not see.

And the man shouted,
“God, show me a miracle.”
And a life was born.
But the man did not notice.

So the man cried out in despair,
“Touch me God, and let me know you are there.”
Where upon, God reached down and touched the man.
But, the man brushed the butterfly away and walked on.

God is always around us in the little and simple things we take for granted. Don’t miss out on a blessing today because it isn’t shown in the way that you expected it to be.

Praise the Lord of My Life.

Rejoice Today!
